Oh come on, that shouldnt count, those are songs. At least train simulator is actual content like models/routes/etc.
Also, there is quite a bunch of "dlc" thats tripple billed if you "add all dlc".

Shouldn't count, why?? They are DLCs like any other, they expand the gameplay experience and bring something new to the game. Granted they might not be the best sort of DLC, but hey, there are DLCs just for costumes/skins in many games, which are in my opinion even more pointless.

Fine it counts, but its still triple billed.

Yet adding 1 train is kinda the same like adding 1 extra song

Forget actual content if you are talking about dlc's.

In quantity, rocksmith wins it I think. On cost, pretty sure nothing can touch train sim 2013.

Does anyone else not like this game companies policy nowadays to put a bare minimum into game and then add everything else as DLC? -_-

Yep, i'd rather pay more for a "bigger" game and get some free DLC's now and then instead of buying it all myself.

Many, many people don't like it, but the sales figures are always so much in the sky, there is no reason for these crimi...companies to not use them more and more.

If Rocksmith follows the steps of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, it will have several thousands DLCs in no time.

It's not even about being willing to pay more - there were times when you just got more for your money, now you get less in the start and then you actually pay more to get what was once free...There are of course exceptions when an already massive game (like Skyrim for example) gets a DLC that makes it even more massive, but those are only exceptions. I feel that in most cases DLC is what should be in the game already from the start...

None of both Skyrim DLCs are worth their price.

Oh I misread it, I thought you were stating that Skyrim DLCs were good. Sorry.

Yes i know, but those times are over in most cases. Game companies saw that people buy all the DLC's which "should" be free, so they won't stop with it. But as you said, there are still some exceptions and thats what i meant with rather pay more for a big game like skyrim instead of buying a light version from it for half of the price and pay extra for every little thing.
