Why is there so many "fake" give aways these days?

I actually haven't run into any at all in awhile. But I do stay away from public giveaways so I guess that's why. And when you say it's fake, do they admit it as if it's a mistake or something? Maybe it's just someone who couldn't give a single fuck about this site and just wants to watch the world burn

Because something in their heads makes them think that the "Create Giveaway" button translates to a "gib free game pls" button. Of course there is also the occasional dick that fakes them on purpose.
