The point is the "HERP DERP R TEHY ON STEEMZ?!" argument is not valid.
Also, Steam is offering non-game apps now, so... I don't see the problem.

If you mean through a giveaway, I seriously doubt it, since I'm pretty sure it's not Steam-redeemable. If you just want to give it to someone, I've generally known the Humble folks to have that option available at checkout, I believe.

There are very few exceptions to non-steam stuff acceptable on steamgifts.
But if there is demand, there is hope.

Now that being said, go make a petition, gather 1k+ signs and then forward it to SG admin, CG.
Then pray.
