I can't get mine to acknowledge the Follows.

Be sure that it shows as played on your profile and it says at least 0.5 hours (even if it says to play it for just 20 minutes). It seems the playing hours are rounded to 0.5 multipliers, so 20 minutes is shown as 0h and it doesn't detect i correctly (as you mentioned, it just spins and does nothing, no error is given).

EDIT: Ah, damn, I just reread your message and you were asking about following the games, not the playing time. Try to unfollow and follow the game again. You usually need to wishlist and follow the game. Also, in givee sometimes you have to recheck all tasks so it will show a pop up stating that it's verifying that all tasks are fulfilled, it's during that process that it should acknowledge everything correctly.
