So explain to me this:

Guy buys 6 foil cards of each kind for a particular game at ~$4-5/card on average. For some he purchases every available card. For the others he only takes the 6 lowest price cards leaving the most expensive ones (usually above $6).

10 days later, puts all of those cards he bought on sale for $1.15 each.

Logic???

"Logic???"

He probably just failed, expected cards to rise price, and they didn't

Yeah, he probably tried to artificially drive the price higher by lowering the offer on the market, but his plans got foiled

He'd have to be pretty dense then. Since for some cards he bought everything available and is now the only one selling any. Basically could set any price he wants. Also the activity with this game's cards is very slow. They seem to only command high prices because there's no more than 1-10 of each card available for weeks at any given time.

He made a $ 500 bet with someone that the prices of cards for a particular game would drop by 50% in 2 weeks.
