I only do this because stuff goes extremelly cheap on these sales sometimes and i like to share, i'm a generous person in real life and on the internets. If i had friends that actually played on steam, i would share with them. But most of my real life friends are innactive so why bother wasting money with people who are offline for 3 months or more... xD

It happens to all of us at some point, i had 10 euro in my pocket and right before sale i bought game, than i waited not to rush into sales and one day L4D2 was on big discount i thought let's grab it while i can since i had only 4.5 euro on wallet. And it was big disappointment for buying L4D2 and now prince of persia is on big discount and i have no money to get it :(

He didn't beg for anything. Correct your statement. Whoever gifted him the game he wanted so much simply is a kind of person who enjoys making other people happy with stuff they really like. I am somehow, the same type of person, i hate beggers and i can clearly see this was not intentionally a begging topic.
Plus no one is forced to give him anything, he just stated something that made him shake a bit emotionally. And i know how that feels, been through it myself a few times.

It sounds more difficult than it is, really. Every flash sale lasted more than eight hours, so as long as I slept less than eight hours at a stretch, I wouldn't miss any. And to ensure that, I just set an alarm...
Edit: Also, I tried to go to bed right after a bunch of flash sales had either just expired, or were about to expire; that way I was unlikely to miss any if I were wrong about them all lasting 8+ hours.

My limit was $20 and I know that after I got the two Ys titles and Alice: Madness Returns, I was broke. xD It sucks when you see an amazing deal and you miss out on it because you bought something else beforehand. My disappointment for this sale is missing out on Fable 3 and Fable: The Lost Chapters.

This happens alot, I wanted the Crysis series to go on sale but it seemed like it was never gonna go on sale and when it did i had used up my budget. Heck, i went 25$ over my budget :/ im going to be eating cup noodle soup for about a week in a half (I dont mind it was worth it :D).

This is the first summer sale I have taken part in. And I have very little spending money after all the bills. So I saved up $10 for myself. I was really really hoping to snag Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 or Vampire the Masquerade. But they were just a bit over my price range. Yesterday I saw Fallout 3 GOTY and thought, wow, that's a great deal... And the two titles I want are older titles, they probably won't drop.... I better jump on that. So I grabbed it up with Time Gentlemen Please and Poker Night at the Inventory. Roughly $9. And now I see that Vampire is on flash sale.... And I hate myself for not holding out that tiny bit longer.... Disappointment.
