Does it keep saying "searching"? If so, try adjusting your maximum acceptable ping in the options menu.
OR from my experience changing your Steam download region also makes a difference. Choose a country in a part of the world where there are more players.
As a last resort, search for a program called Steam MM picker. It allows you to select/block certain regions when you're searching for matches. It's completely safe because it only accesses your windows firewall instead of CSGO itself.
All three of these have worked for me in the past but now I just use the MM picker.

Open the console while you are looking for a game, so you might get a hint of what's going on. In most cases, you just can't find a server with low ping. If so, you can change the maximum ping from the options. If not, well, you should do some deeper research.

I haven't been able to play CS:GO for awhile now because whenever I click play no matter what game mode and if I even sit there for 5+ minutes it wont put me in a game. I haven't used any cheats or done anything wrong so I don't know why I cant join into a game. I can join community servers just not the "play now" matches. I really love this game and want to play it still so PLEASE HELP ME resolve this.
