He's obviously going for the targets that get him the most attention, so I doubt SteamGifts is at risk.

Half of the time the site is non-responsive for me anyways, plus I've never won anything so it won't hurt my feelings.

I already assume SG and Steam are gonna be effectively DDoS'd by legit users once the USA reaches midnight, then peaking every top of the hour.

I highly doubt they have access to a powerful enough botnet to ddos a freeware site rather then an established site like steamgifts.
