Lets you easily check their SteamGifts, SteamTrades and SteamRep pages, confirm they are who they insist. Useful against scammers for obvious reasons.

It would be nice to read some clever scammers as precaution. The shitty scammer scamming is obvious enough.

I did make it myself (although I did it just by reworking Steam's news page into a Tumblr theme), thanks! And yeah I don't know what was up with that; I guess Tumblr was having technical problems but they seem to be working now.

I would type them all out to remove any possible "calling out" as even the avatar is enough to find the users. Typing it out would also improve the looks tremendously as it looks pretty shitty in my opinion with all the information blacked out and different Steam skins.

Good blog.
Will definitely check it when I want another laugh.

Why are you blocking the usernames? Shouldn't we all be able to see who they are? It's not calling out since it's on another site right?

Followed. Can't wait to see this shit on my dash! I will have many a laugh.

I can access Tumblr all right, but the Shitty Scammers blog doesn't load. I googled it up, and i could read a few posts liked by someone. But i cannot access this specific blog directly. Throws the following error (tried FF and IE)
"Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
EDIT : Was able to access the website by going to "http://shittyscammers.tumblr.com/a " which took me to the blog with a page not found error, but i was able to access the archives etc. from there. But clicking on the Home button or the Logo (which again links to the home page) errors out again.

Hmmm, Google says the answer might be that you need to clear your cache. But I also did a HTML validity test on the website, so I've now made a small change that could have some slight chance of fixing the error (doubtful though). Otherwise, I have no idea :P

People on this forum seem to be having a lot of fun laughing at idiotic scammers lately, so I decided to start a blog where anyone can submit their scam stories/chat logs for the world to enjoy. After spending a lot more time than I intended to making the blog's theme, it is finally ready to launch! Introducing Steam Scammers!
So far it only has two stories taken from this forum, but anyone can contribute to it with the submit link at the top. If I can come up with enough content, I'm hoping to have a new post every day (though I have a feeling that I'm not gonna have nearly enough stuff to post to do that, but we'll see...).
EDIT: I guess submissions were down earlier, but they seem to be working now (must have been a problem with Tumblr).
