With Humblebundle if you get the gift link first and claim the page then they can't do anything with the gift link.
I don't know about IG gift links
Neither about other possibly existing gift links :P

Okay, so to be clear: the page won't be claimed and owned, but entering your info on the gift-link's page and receiving the email with the code in it will lock out every further attempt made by anyone.
