[PSA] Steam has a "Move Install Folder" button now!

thats great news, for some reason all my space is on my d drive instead of c drive :P

i was so fedup with manually moving files around. but by no means was going to settle with a HDD over SSD.

Huh? I checked 'local files' but no such thing as move install folder. I tapped on Steam client update and it says it's already up to date.

Uh, this has been around for at least a month, maybe two.
I remember another thread about it. :X

Might be dense, what's so different from setting an installation map to D:\ f.e and set that to primary?

It was never that hard to do manually, but it's nice that they made it a proper feature.

Sorry for the necro folks, but it appears this option has now gone. can anybody else confirm?!

Edit: to be clear, just restarted steam before posting this, so could be a borky update.
Edit2: just opted into beta updates and its also gone from there too.
EDit3: Okay, this gets weirder.

Having had the client scan the external drive's library... those games are now showing the option to be moved, as is the C drive (which wasnt before). Has to be a weird update bug.

Well, at least theres a fix of sorts for anybody else encountering this!
