Unknown developers with a new game can't add trading cards to their game at release anymore. Only if the game reaches a threshold of sales on Steam (50k I think) they could consider adding cards. I don't know of a typical asset flip selling even close to this number.

For me one of the worst are the adult ones. They really lack creativity and often times it's just milking gamers that are looking for quick pleasure. 😅 I'd never even bother buying such games. They need to get over a threshold of effort and work from the devs for me to give them my money.

But in the most cases are the nsfw ones very cheap stuff, both in price and content.
I decribe a good one as a game that would be good without the nsfw part too.
Not each company can bring on something like Witcher and to hit a special audience it must have more nsfw in the game as there.

I agree. I don't expect them too, but even so, I don't think most of them should be puzzle games. NSFW or not, expressive freedom is idea. I've seen a lot of them doing the same puzzle mascaraed. Although I've never played one in my life, it's easy to get curious to see what a game is about on the store if it has something to make you curious about. 🤣

I still wouldn't buy them unless I'd get some sort of benefits from it, for instance, a cool looking letter achievement that you can customize your Steam account with.

Here's something that happened last year that involved me and an asset flipper known as Johnny Ginard. Johnny has a history of wishing death on people and thier families, using homophobic slurs and lying.

The first 4 are all sold on the same website. They cost 17 cents and are worth $60 on Steam.
I created tickets to have them changed to No Value because of the huge 99.7% discount. Even at Reduced Value, they would still generate 52 CV per dollar spent!
I don't expect a quick response from support (I've had similar tickets pending for over a month), but at least there's a record now in their system, including screenshots.
It's a never-ending battle against this trash. They seem to release a new batch every few weeks.

Tero Lunkka / Valkeala Software seems to have at least one person affiliated with them here on SG. So many trash asset flips being thrown around in giveaways and in contribution threads.

The number of so called developers making these games is getting even worse then before and now they are charging stupid prices for this junk.
This one shows how bad it is getting, the lowest price for his asset flips is 24.99 and the highest is 44.99 USD.
Then there is this one who is selling his asset flips at a staggering 49.99 USD
If anyone wants this might be a good place to list other games that are over priced asset flips so when support has time they can zero the value.
