It's not ended, I just got one! I played the hell out of this game in the 90s. It came with my very first joystick, the original Logitech Wingman. It was purple-ish with a really big handle, a bright orange trigger and thumb button and a wheel throttle. And nothing else.

What are the odds it'll work with my current one? My guess is: "outlook not promising."
