Depends what it is for. Something like a re-roll request is fine, but user reports are beyond slow. In fact, they are downright glacial.

Wouldnt a chat ban, I assume banned from the steam chatroom, be handled by a group chat admin and NOT a site admin? Add one of the chat mods and politely ask about being unbanned is what I would do.

Chat unbans are handled through tickets so there's a record of it, in case of repeat offenders.

Well that's disturbing to my eyes... i once did request the samething you did because people in SG chat said it was possible, all i got from my request was a "NOPE" and an excuse as to why it can't be done.

Back then i wanted to make a 50 giveaway train and was limited to about half of that amount. Hmm, i guess some of the cyber police around here doesn't like the extra gifts.

Not that i really care anyways, just goes to show how things are handled sometimes in this community, it's sad in the end.

you were granted extra slots probably because Midsummer Madness is a big event still running with many people involved,if it was a personal train with only you involved probably you wouldn't get any extra slots.i believe as you said that it's depending on the reason

A while ago when I only had 13 slots, I requested 12 extra slots for a train and I got an answer the next day saying that it will be placed in the admin's queue.

My reason is the same as tempete's if u check what he wrote.

I know i got suspended like 2 or 3 times because of conflicts with some certain individuals in this community in the past, then again i'm not even sure if it's because of that why i got neglected my request.

I wanted to make 50+ giveaway train, spares, bundle spares, etc.

It just depends on what its for. I rarely do Support tickets, and the few I've done have gotten responses relatively quickly. Although, my current one just hit 3 months.

I create support tickets like I Pray. It's fucking hard to believe unless I see result for myself. Others have been touched by the Lady. god for them.

I've used it a few times (same ticket) but multiple times. It was always 15-30 mins response. I'm sure it depends on the type of the ticket but I'm very happy.

Depends on topic:

  • feedback change request was resolved within few hours
  • other category ticket (about updating bundled game list) waited almost a week for first response ("I will notify bundler" type)
  • user report (regifting) is over a week old already and untouched

almost all of my tickets have been answered rather promptly, although to be fair about half of those or maybe more were during the reign of the great lokonopa, and he is some sort of ticket genie, or a motherfucking sorcerer or... something

Yes, it's slow. Reported a guy for not activating a win not long after I joined. The ticket was still pending when SGV2 launched and someone (I think it was Khalaq) suggested we close old tickets. The user seems to have left on his own accord since then anyway so I closed it. Still, it went around 16 motnhs with no reply and if that isn't slow then I don't know what is.

Edit: I did just want to throw in an acknowledgement that I do realise everyone is trying their best, and that everyone is a volunteer, fitting their SG duties around their own lives and whatnot. Thanks for that in case any of you from support are reading this.

user reports take too long,the most annoying thing is when you spotted a multiple that keeps winning.

Awesome and well deserved since it's for a good cause.
My tickets haven't been answered yet, most are just about regifters and such but 2 are for users that haven't activated the games they won from me so if someone would answer those, that'd be great. Been wating a month.
I understand the work they have to put in this tho so.. Meh. I'll just wait. :D

As I understand you requested more giveaway slots cause you are dev for promoting game ?! and yet I dont see you promoted that game ?! Who cares you started mid-summer even, giving you extra slots this way is clearly against rules.
