I feel that this site is supported by wonderful people like you. I sincerely thank and admire you for your great contributions over the past 13 years. Thank you, always.
P.S.: I also love coffee a lot. Though I’m a bit of a poor taster and can’t really tell the subtle flavors😋

I'm glad there are always new people arriving like you, you're precious because you're the new blood of this website when we get old and grumpy. I don't know much about coffee either, but uuuf that does so good !! (Well not sure doc would say the same i admit)

I think many of us have been through tough times or are currently going through them. If you can take away something from it, like realising that life can be tough for others and being empathetic, it has not been for nothing.
Thank you for sharing some of your experience. And thank you for always being such a kind and generous person. 💙

Yes, it's sometimes harsh but i try to learn from it to not send back something disgusting. Cause sometimes life throws you shit and you tend to send back shit too cause you're covered of that there is shit everywhere around... But then you think oh wait !! XD
As a note it's amazing how many great people there are here... especially you, you know that ! (Well yes not just you, but it's really important here how you shine !)

My immediate reaction was to question if this really can be considered a "peaceful island", after all we've experienced tons of conflicts and feuds. Personal and caused by global events.
But I think ultimately you are right. There is something about SG that still manages to keep it/us together. Probably how we teach each other to get ever more addicted to hoarding games.
Summed up the positive experiences vastly outnumber the negative ones. And thankfully it's the ambition of most of us to keep the ratio like that. Most of the time. ^_^

Sorry for the late answer as i didn't want to spam the forum.
I'm amazed watching the "stats of users per country" despite numerous external conflicts. Here people behave and are considered as individuals, not as people from war-torn countries, probably cause yes you're right our passion to hoa... to play games stick us together. :p
Today it's harder and harder to find not region-locked games on legal resellers. This and the steam restrictions to gift games are some issues to this universality.
To see just how different this community is, we just visit the rest of the Internet before running back here lol !

You're a treasure. I think life is getting harder and harder for just about everyone at the moment, but i just got a phone call from my sister and it did good for both of us. Also i'm glad you look ok after what you said to us during the heatwave ! Take care !

Hello,
Outside it wasn't the best time lately. However, i was looking back in my head on those years on steamgifts.
When i joined 13 years ago i had not a dime, was wondering how to gift something, and joined a free online programming course to be able to offer my first gift here (won't lie it was Portal 2) and also got my first blacklists for this. And then there was this website where we could task, i became a fulltime tasker. This allowed me to buy a lot of not-so-great games, but also to get TF2/CS:Go keys to gift some occasional better games. But that was years ago, from that i try to not forget how some people can't buy games to gift.
Actually i just wanted to thank you, and express my gratitude for this site for being a peaceful island in the middle of the troubled internet and world. And also a site with an astonishing number of people who cheer up others, accompany them in their trials and console them in their distress. Here you never really feel alone, it's one of the only places on the internet where you're not alone.
(Gratitude especially to those who supported me when people outside tried to break my door. And also sorry for appearing very rigid sometimes, it doesn't mean that i don't like you)
You'll be disappointed as it's not a lot but here is a little something as a gratitude
