If there's one thing that makes me sad, it's so many great music from my region that goes completely under the radar. So let's see if by the magic of SG, some of these artists can get... okay, perhaps not popular, but if they gain at least one extra fan, I'll be quite happy.

I'm Honduran so you can expect a heavy bias towards Honduran and Central American artists, but there's a lot to get covered from South America, Mexico, and the Carribean.

I'll be updating this thread at a very uneven pace, with some quality stuff and every now and then with some bundle trash. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the ride.

*Taking a slight break as I'm going on vacation, but I'll be back.

Influences from Joy Division, The Strokes, Zoe, Rey Pila, Los Daniels. All those music you name goes under the radar because it's pretty meh music.

Remindme post some music later

Perhaps you'll dig more some of the other artists I'll showcase later.

But any further contributions in terms of obscure recommendations is welcome. The hunger of an Internet music nerd is never satiated.

Nortec Collective presents: Bostich+Fussible "Tijuana Sound Machine"

Rey Pila - No Longer Fun

Pilaseca - Minimo

Austin TV - Marduk
Austin TV - Shiva
Austin TV - Hombre Pánico

Música en general
Le Baron / Inmóvil

Porter - Host of a Ghost

Simona - Don't Chu Get it

Zoe - Poli

Plastilina Mosh - Pervert Pop Song

Fobia - Hoy Tengo Miedo

The Plastics Revolution - Light Of Day

3 Dudes and a Mullet - Love Train

Los Daniels - Te Puedes Matar

Los Campesinos - You! Me! Dancing!

La Gusana Ciega - Tornasol

Sol Pereyra - Actos fallidos

Kinky - A Donde Van Los Muertos

BONUS TRACKS have fun
Bonus track - Los Angelitos Negros del Molocotongo
Bonus video

P.D.

Some quick picks since I'm busy doing RL stuff:

Americo - Te Vas
Buddy Richard - Tu Cariño Se Me Va
Trio San Javier - Quince primaveras
Orquesta Guayacán - Invierno en Primavera
Jose Luis Rodriguez - Dueño de nada

I swear to you I'm not as old as these songs may lead you to believe.

Bah, just realized you were focusing on current stuff over Latam music in general. Ya, I can't be of much help there then :/.

I fell in love with Uaral since the first time I heard their songs, so sad they are completely underrated. Awesome folk/doom metal band from Chile, but their music style isn't for everyone.

Folk/Doom? Sounds like they'll be gaining a new fan soon enough.
