Exactly... 20 years after 98, we still have retrospectives once a year at best.
And the purpose of this cup is already fulfilled : all of the freaking 140€ shirts and goodies are sold. May they rot in a cartboard box in the cellar, and then repeat in 4 years.

Definitely supporting Croatia, it will be a hard game for them without a doubt but this tournament has been full of surprises and for Croatia to win would be the perfect underdog story!

I'm impartial, I have 2 good reasons to support both teams.
France plays the best/smartest football in this tournament and Pavard is my favorite player from VfB Stuttgart.
Croatia is the underdog from a small country and they've shown such an impressive spirit.

As I've said in other threads, I'm a lifelong Francophone and was in France for the 1998 WC championship and 2000 for the Euro championship, so I will root for France.
That said, I've always had a good feeling for Croatia (dating back to their run in the 1998 WC) and will be very happy for them if they win-- and a fitting end for this tournament for a first-time winner (and such a small country) to win the WC.

I could also say lots of things from history...but this "aggressive behavior" from neighbors has learned a lot for Croatians.
Don't forget that we were thorns for lot of conquering nations & empires, but we prevailed, from Venice republic to Otoman empire or more recent ones from Serbs & one of the top5 armies in the World (at that time).
