POKEMON! I spent hundrets of hours playing the Nintendo games when I was younger.
As of now, it is Skyrim. The perfect game would be a Skyrim-like The Darkness II in my opinion.

Fallout 3. Started playing when it first came out when I was a kid, beat it over 30 times and have spent hundreds of hours crawling through the wasteland refusing to leave my basement. And I haven't even played the DLC's yet. Fallout New Vegas was pretty good but If Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3, you might never hear from me again.

WOW, very tough question. There are a lot of awesome games I've played over the years. I guess it would have to be between Max Payne 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, Spec Ops The Line, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Bioshock. I guess if I had a gun to my head and I really had to choose, I'd choose Max Payne 2. Each of these games is the best at something: Jedi Academy at game-play(hell, who the fuck doesn't like being a freaking Jedi?), Grand Theft Auto 4 has the most awesome and likable protagonist, Spec Ops The Line has the best story and Bioshock has the best feeling and atmosphere. But I chose Max Payne 2, because even though it's not the best in any of those categories, it does manage to be the second best in ALL by a VERY LOW margin in each case. Running around the awesome environments and gunning down entire armies of ass-holes in bullet-time is a feeling comparable even to being a Jedi(although nothing's quite like throwing someone off a ledge using Force grip). Max Payne doesn't score quite as high on the cool-meter as Niko Belic does(at least for me), but he is nonetheless as VERY WELL DEFINED, complete and human character, with the added benefit of not transforming into a total monster like Capt. Walker. In terms of feeling and atmosphere, Bioshock brings some more to the table because of the added scare factor and the claustrophobia of Rapture, but I can't be in any way disappointed by the Ragnarok themes, the dreary feelings of hopelessness that the game constantly emanates and the almost trademark comic strip exposition from Max Payne 2. And as for overall story, Max Payne's free-fall is ALMOST as dark, sad and gruesome as captain Walker's story(who similarly enough also suffers a sort of free-fall, albeit one that has much more to do with his own persona than with others around him). These are the reasons why for me Max Payne 2 is the best game ever-made...it has more to do with the overall experience than with the sum of is parts.

Easy, Portal, has been my most favorite game ever since I've played it and loved the second one too.
And I'm kinda even fanboying about it and buying a shitton of Portal related stuff, being interested in lot's of mods of it and even playing Portal songs at work...

I know this is a very common (and sometimes overly emotional) topic, but I would be interested to see what your favorite games EVER are. Personally, mine is Space Engineers (although the hours played might not validate that). It's a great game, and if you haven't already, you should check it out.
Also, my YouTube channel recently got partnered with a network, and it would help a great deal if you guys checked my channel out. You don't have to subscribe or anything, but please give it a chance. Clicky
