Anything cheap, I've been learning Japanese for a while and I thought if I played a game only in Japanese it would be helpful, cuz I play lots of games.

Anyone have any idea?

Not official, but there's a patch that adds voiceovers from PSP version to Ys: Oath in Felghana, both English and Japanese.
EDIT: just saying it doesn't change text, though. I don't know what to do if you want Japanese text too.

Find some visual novels and play those?

Good idea, with the audio and text in Japanese you get double the chances to misunderstand something... :)

Probably means a translated version where you can read the text in a language you know while taking in the voices from the audio, there's plenty of visual novels out there with just such a thing and many fan translations as well.

Chantelise and Recettear. Probably Fortune Summoners, too, but I don't own that. And if you're the kind of person that learns Japanese in his leisure time for no reason, they're definitely games you'll enjoy.

Also, off Steam, I think the Persona games do, too. I also know Katawa Shoujo and other visual novels, and again, if you like Japan, they're the games for you.

Nah, the Persona games are in English-only Audio. They have great casts, though (especially 4), so there's no need to shy away from them.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a Wii game that supports Japanese if I recall correctly. I was kinda surprised by the quality of the soundtrack when I first started it (and had to find my way to the English setting). They don't speak too fast either.

You're probably looking for a Steam game, but you might want to look into that one if you have the console.

Speaking of Wii games with Japanese support, Xenoblade Chronicles is one to check out as well.

Japanese language downloads from the Amazon store. Unfortunately most of the time they are a lot more expensive than English versions.

Modern Sonic games, if you feel like it. Supports full Japanese audio and English subs. Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 is fairly cheap right now on Steam. While for SADX I suggest you to look for old 2004 version (not new Steam version) because it's more better port.
