It's very nice, indeed.

It's quite fun, but I suggest you play with a friend, it's more fun that way than playing with random people (same goes for Magicka).

Also: voice chat helps.

I loved the game and logged far too many hours on it until I realized that it was too much of a treadmill for me. Stats on gear are entirely randomized so it'll take a while to find or even shop for an upgrade sometimes, and then once you have it you have to sink literally millions and millions of mana (the in-game currency) into upgrading them. To put that into perspective, the monsters drop between 1 and 500 mana apiece. You do get extra mana for meeting certain criteria at the end of each stage and any loot left on the floor is automatically sold off so that's another source of income, but it still takes a lot of grinding.

Not saying don't buy it, but just be aware that it can be very demanding of your time.

Yeah, it's a great game (and quite addictive).

Honestly, you need to get at least someone else to play with you. Single player is alright when you start out, but most of the fun is when you play with friends.
