Are you okay with Dindu Nuffin?

I didn't even knew that "dindu nuffin" was considered offensive, I thought it was just some dumb meme. That's the thing about policing the names users use here, how can you be sure it wasn't just a kid with little tact that thought it was funny? Tolerance through intolerance to the intolerant is not real tolerance, it's just a mind fuck of an approach.

I couldn't possibly care less. Its just a username/avatar and people who get offended over it should find better things to do with their life. The only ones I have a problem with is the ones that are an direct attack to someone, but even then not many fucks are given.

If you're offended by that, it's understandable. But, you should also understand, that this is the Internet - huge spam of ideas and thoughts from different countries, different cultures. What's ok for one, is triggering for the other. Some people might not be intentionally racist, just ignorant.

You can report users for "Inappropriate behavior". That's as far as your powers can reach. Unless you're trying to push for stricter moderation. Anyway, it's not just U.S., it's the whole world on the Internet. There are more people that don't care, than sjws.

Honestly, I think someone like that doesn't belong on Steamgifts. The racist meme is just a small part of the bigger problem, which is his overall attitude and self. I would not want someone like that winning my giveaways.

while his icon/username choice does fall under freedom of speech, keep in mind that it's a two way street and people can just as easily use their freedom of speech to say it's tasteless or unfunny. Or use their freedom to blacklist him.
