Just needs a restart of steam. That happened to me too, every time I went to a new page the list got longer...

Have you tried deleting/renaming clientregistry.blob and restarting steam?
Its in the Steam install folder and stores some client settings locally.
This is something else to try steam flush

Should be fixed with the September 22nd beta update. At least it works for me now.
