wondering if anyone has played the game WURM and thoughts on it? I read its the spiritual successor to an old RPG franchise if I'm not mistaken.

i've played a bit and the best summary i've seen is "the quintessential grandfather of crafting/building games". a friend of mine has clocked over 2,000 hours and still refers to wurmpedia often, very deep game and a true sandbox.

yeah I see, what I originally meant was this game was sort of the predecessor to Minecraft. It does look interesting but like with most crafting game it's better with friends or with others. Unfortunately.. I have neither :(

It's like Minecraft only in the sense that you can terraform and build/craft. You can make friends in Wurm like I did.
