Reinstalling didn't work for me.

I just deleted it from the extensions in Chrome and reinstalled it, now it works again (don't know if it will last though)

So, no solution to this yet? Damn annoying having to put it back on every time I close chrome.

The creator should upload it to the Chrome store.

You can run Chrome with command line parameter "--enable-easy-off-store-extension-install" and the extension is back but Google can close this method like the first one. And there is one more method which include editing manifest file and adding extension folder manually if the method above is closed.

I tried all the things you are posting here and they don't work. There is something I am doing bad :S

I had to use Tampermonkey to enable the extension again.

Here's how you do it:

1 - Open Tampermonkey

2 - Go to "Installed userscripts"

3 - Tick the box next to SteamGifts Plus Alternative

4 - Select "Enable" below

5 - Click Start and you're done.

If you use Chrome, you can disable the automatic disable feature by using the developer version of Chrome. You can find it here.

You could add option to fast ignore game game,cause writing down all over again after crash/error(couldnt even import database) is painfull...

For the time being, if you're on Chrome and refuse to use Firefox for some ridiculous reason, install tampermonkey from the chrome store. Then just go to this scripts download page and left click it. Tampermonkey will automatically add the script to its program and you just need to click "save" or install. One of the two.
