Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep are the best in my opinion

I agree. I did get the UVH Packs and Headhunter stuff, though. It's always nice to have more BL2 to play.

+1 for Torgue and Tiny Tina.
If you want reasons:
Captain Scarlett was 75% 'meh' for me. there was a few good quest, but nothing intresting. 'big' spoiler (even the game writes it:) She will betray you at the end. You win. yaay.
Torgue: another small spoiler: you will be betrayed again. But this is the beginning! This is the cause the quest-line starts for real! Much better idea than C. Scarlett's. Quests are good, and Mr. Torgue's commentary is just great along the DLC. Lots of shooting, explosives, guitar soloes performed by Torgue and more meaningless SHOURING BECAUSE TORGUE LIKES IT THIS WAY! it's good :)
Big Hunt: kill animals. More animals. Some tribesmen. Even more tribesmen. Now repeat these for quests. Sadly I highly anticipated this DLC - there could be epic beasts. But no. There is a semi-mediocre storyline and lots of shooting. Good in GOTY, but not suggested to buy alone.
Tiny Tina: maaan... Dungeons and Dragons? NO. Bunkers and Bada$$es! Great idea about vault huntes playing - fantasy world with Tina's twisted commentary as Dungeon Master. Oh, did I mention the granade mods: chain lightning, fireball, magic missile?. Amongst the best dialogues of the game are in this game. Much, much better than Scarlett or Big Hunt.

From what I gathered, the goty includes most of the stuff people would want, besides the 2nd leveling pack and HeadHunter packs(Short missions).
Greenmangaming has some of it on sale, well I got the 2nd leveling pack for a dollar and change there...

Just buy Season Pass, it countains all good DLC's.But of course, you'll always want more when it comes to Borderlands so you might wanna grab the GOTY.
I don't like Headhunter DLC's, but I love the Season Pass DLC's.Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is so damn good, if it were a standalone game I'd definitely buy it ^^

Cap Level 1 and 2 and the ones with the GOTY version.
Good luck :)

Tiny Tina's might be the best DLC for any game ever. Torgue is really good, Pirates is decent, Big game hunt is forgettable. Only get the HH packs if you really love the game and would pay for just one more hour of game play, cause that's basically what they are.

IMO all of them are worth it, even the headhunters.
But i would recommend both Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack for increased lvl cap with Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon keep.

All of the game time adding DLCs are worth it IMO. Just skip the skin DLCs unless there're some you really like.
Well, if I'd have to choose only one, I'd go for Tiny Tina. That one is the best. Also definitely get those packs that allow you to reach higher levels.

I haven't played BL2 much since the big contest they had. Being forced (if I wanted to win) to play every day, killing their choice of enemy, then using their choice of weapon to kill their other choice of enemy, for the better part of a month... almost entirely killed my enthusiasm for the game.
As such, I've got all the DLC, but I haven't gotten around to playing the Mercenary Day, Wedding Day Massacre, or Son of Crawmerax ones. Out of the ones I have played the only one I would actively suggest you not bother with is the Wattle Gobbler DLC.
It's just as short as the other headhunter packs, but also includes a mission (two, actually) that I consider to be nothing more than a slap in the face. Honestly, if the intent was to amuse people rather than shit on them, I would sincerely be surprised. See, one of the missions (with 2 parts), forces you to sit and listen to Torgue's grandmother drone on and on and on in a stream of consciousness detour down the inanities of her own personal memory lane, and if you try to get out of listening to her by wandering off to do something more interesting while she blathers on, she'll burst into tears, you fail the mission, and you have to start over. If you walk away in RL, you'd better know the answer to the question she asks to make sure you were listening or, again, she cries and you fail.
If you manage to pass that test, you get to do the second half... then do it twice more in True Vault Hunter mode, then do it twenty more times (four for each of the other five characters).
The stories she tells aren't the least bit amusing, and serve no purpose other than to waste your time. You pay good money for the DLC, and Gearbox rewards you by doing their damnedest to steal time from you that you will NEVER get back (better hope there's an afterlife or you just wasted some valuable time)! Not to mention that a lot of players probably have parents and grandparents with unfortunate conditions that cause them to act a LOT like this, anyway... and probably don't appreciate having to deal with it in what they use to escape reality.
I don't remember what the reward for the second half of the 'mission' is, but the first half nets you one dollar. One. Dollar. $1.
If that's not deliberately meant to be a blatant and very purposeful slap in the face of the consumer, I don't know what it is... but it wasn't fun, and it wasn't what I paid for, even at a deeper than deep Steam discount. I'm sure if someone calculated and compared what you make working minimum wage, versus the time it takes to do that mission, you'd find that your time was worth more than the entire DLC, at full retail price.
Buy your favorite skins, instead.

I got all the DLC ( except the skins) and they are well worth it. Tiny Tina's is by far the best and an absolute must if you ever played AD&D

Get all of it but the skins (unless you want to of course) borderlands 2 is one of the few games where all the dlc is actually worth it, especially during a steam sale.
