I've not played it on Steam because it came free with Rise of the Tomb Raider and I'd previously completed it on Xbox 360.
In terms of how good it was - it was certainly a massive improvement on the previous Tomb Raider release, Underworld (completed in under 8 hours, pretty dire game frankly). The only thing I felt Tomb Raider (2013) lacked was difficult tombs - most of them were pretty straight-forward. Also, the fact the DLC mostly concentrated on multiplayer (why?!?) instead of adding more tombs was unfortunate - but at least I had the chance to vote with my wallet!

Tomb Raider was nice but it definitely needed more and better tombs

Loved it, but as another mentioned despite my having it on Steam, I've previously completed it on the 360 (where I pre-ordered it no less, got the Tin and everything..).. One day I'll get around to completing it on the PC, probably when I get Rise of the Tomb Raider and decide to start from square one.

Oh, ok :D
I don't really care for voice (well in the meaning that it doesn't make me feel bad or good when I listen to people). So I don't really understand this "OMG he's got so sexy voice, like OMG" xD
Though I get annoyed when actor voice is stiff and out-of emotions. That's why I always play with original english sounds, never with these terrible polish ones.

I played several of the Tomb Raider games, though never finished any of them. I have them on several platforms, including the original Tomb Raider on the Nokia N-Gage and Tomb Raider 2 on Android.
As for the 2013 game, the reason I never got far into it is that the Lenovo Y70-70 piece of shit heats up and shuts down when playing games, and I don't currently have anything else accessible that can run the game.

Feral is working on a Linux/SteamOS version in these days, along with other games.

It was fun. Finished it in a couple of days back in 2013. The cutscenes were a bit meh and the button pressing cutscenes kinda sucked. Like press this key/button mashing. Aside from that i am looking forward to Rise of the TR going on sale for me to get it. It's too expensive for me for the time being.

Tomb Raider is an old game series that got a reboot in 2013. Known for its iconic main heroine Lara Croft, action and puzzles, it is an enjoyable action game. Have you played the games in the series, what are your thoughts and is there any reasons why you haven't yet tried the well received 2013 title?
