Factory generates lots of pollution
It depends on which factory--heavy industry or hi-tech.

Even heavy industry is pretty clean, especially nowadays. There are a few exceptions, like the chemical industry (and not even all of it) for example, but that's about it.
The pollution mostly comes from the power stations (or power plants). But a power station is not a factory :)

Doesn't really matter which type, since the poll is kind of just for fun. But ever since I started playing city building games all kinds of factory (except for Hi-Tech ones) in them always generate lots of pollution, no matter old ones or new ones...
