Watch Order pre-order delayed, seriously?

You read the title right, apparently pre-orders for Watch Dogs in my country / region I don't know is delayed by a month. Heck, it is still showing as pre-order on GMG page.

Thank god I didn't "pre-order" the game.

Apparently the console versions aren't delayed, neither are the physical copies and it can be bypassed with a VPN. So, what the hell?

It can be bypassed with VPN. I have a US copy of AC IV, a European copy of FC3 blood dragon and maybe a Russian copy of Ghost Recon Future Soldier... All on my UPlay account.

I'm on Asia, but mine didn't get delayed. However, I pre-ordered it on Origin and the unlock date said June 27. After some Googling, I have noticed that it was announced on the Ubi forums that the release date WAS June 26 on some Asian countries due to localization or whatever. So, I canceled my Origin pre-order in favor of a Steam one, which did show a May 27 release date.

Happened to us in the UK with Dark Souls 2. We got it later than the rest of the planet and Namco couldnt care less when I reached out to them about it.
