I thought about it initially. But then again - 1 of our 3 games is Non-VR game, plus we are making another non-VR one plus - we also have this epic soundtrack and nice artbook.
Oh and the point shop items. It took me whopping 2 weeks to mak but I think they came out pretty nice!

I do believe that this is against guidelines
Third party giveaways that require or reward users for performing profitable actions. For example, linking to a giveaway on another service that requires or incentivizes users to click a referral link, like a Facebook page, follow a Twitter account, join a Steam group, complete a survey, sign-up for a newsletter, or make a donation.

eh, I don't see an explicit permission from support there, but whatever. seems you're aware of the issue - that's good. you're trying to circumvent it with a loophole - that's bad. anyway I'm not a mod so my role ends here. it's up to support to decide what to do. either way all power to you!

oh its not really me trying to find a loop hole. The Gleam Giveaway is really just a bonus. My main focus is Weeklong and our new awesome Trading Cards/Point Shop items.
To be 100% sure I am not breaking any rules I've filled a support ticked and this was the answer:

The point is - the info about the event is literally EVERYWHERE now. So regardless WHAT link I would post, be it discord, facebook, steam - it would lead to the event with the giveaway eventually. I would have to intentionally link to a place 100% separated from any of our channels and that would be kind a... pointless, won't you agree?
The gleam giveaway is just there, between other things. My main goal is simple to grow our community. :(
Hence I am also dropping so many giveaways at SteamGifts.
