Well, DotA is what LoL was based on. I've always had one huge problem with DotA though and that's the community. The DotA community has always seemed so hyper-competitive compared to the other similar WC3 mods. When HoN and LoL came out, this same mindset transferred as well. While LoL can be fairly competitive at times (especially if playing a ranked game), HoN is permanently stuck in uber-competitive mode. Although DotA 2 is a "new" game, I predict that it will once again draw in the competitive crowd from HoN and the original DotA.

On a side note: Does anyone else think that when HoN went F2P they did it horrendously? They basically tried to copy LoL's system but made it seems like it's designed to make it far more likely that a person will need to spend real money.

You can't make a giveaway with that. It's only beta.

Try to e-mail the webmasters: inbox@steamgifts.com , maybe they will add the Dota 2 option. Or you could add another game (a weird one, with a high price), and in the description say it's Dota 2.

For example, you could use Dungeon Siege. It's an old game, and I think it costs 60 dollar-points (because it's part of the bundle of Dungeon Siege III )

The reason Dota 2 is not on the list is because it is "Free", since it's a beta, and most likely will be free when it releases.
