Depends on a genre and sometimes how crappy it is. Dropping an RPG or any open-world/sandbox game after 1-2h seems pointless, as you're probably still in tutorial, or don't know anything about lore/story, so except for totally broken un-rebindable controls or not working basic games mechanics - game still deserves a try. On the other hand if you're playing a casual game and after 30minutes totally dislike game idea or mechanics - it's not going to change so you may as well drop it. And if you don't drop Bad Rats after 15mins max you're simply an masochist ;p

Ok so i have 291 games or so in my steam account. I wouldlike to have say i played them all but i have a feeling i wont like some of them but i figured i should at least give them a try. How long do you think it is required to play a game before you decide you dont like it? If i like it complete it but i dont want to put 30 minutes into a game i dont likeand later figure out i would have liked it if i moved on. Thoughts, comments, questions, dirty jokes?
