[PUZZLE] oxguy3's Puzzle of Technical Miscellany and Reduced Illegitimacy

For anyone who was disappointed that my "super difficult puzzle" recently wasn't actually very difficult at all, here is a new one that I hope will be somewhat legitimately challenging. The questions are all related to technical stuff like networking and programming and game development. Good luck!

Oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention, the giveaways are open for one week. Answers will be posted on the forums once they close.

Nice! You'll need to use a specification of the Minecraft server protocol for Q9.

The language for the Dota 2 bot is wrong. There is a considerable difference between the correct answer and the answer you have. I also can't figure out Q6, which should be fairly straightforward. Hint?

Puzzle is good though.

Stumped on 5 and 6. Tried every variation of Q6, name and version number, spacing, and it's not what I'm 99.9% sure it is O.o

I've already dropped some hints for Q9, but none for Q8. Try looking for a basic guide on forking Git repos. It's gonna be really hard to find the answer if your search terms are too specific, but if you look up general information about forked repos with Git, you might have more luck.
