Can't buy as a gift

Anybody else experiencing this? The "purchase as gift" option is greyed out for me when I tried buying Zombie Army Trilogy for a friend. I coldn't buy Deponia as a gift either, but I managed to buy a DLC for ETS2.

I can buy region locked games as gifts with no problem, I sold a lot of GTA V for instance.
