Even though I was able to activate Revelations ? though it had no tag but has a restriction message on it's store page.

New lock in Steam: AllowCrossRegionTradingAndGifting = No
Revelations doesn't has that lock.

So to make things clear
Revelations doesn't have restriction but RE6 and Remember Me do?

RE6 has it. Remember Me is just tagged but can be activated and played. Issue would be Steam retroactively put a playgame lock on it. But has been months and nothing happened so far.

I trade a lot of games but always make sure they're ROW but now I am interested in buying a few games from the Capcom sale off a Russian friend but here's the thing -
When I check the Russian Steam Store I get a message about the game that it can only be activated in specific countries.
Little thing I should mention - I got Resident Evil Revelations from him and it was not tagged and worked fine and in English
I now also want Resident Evil 6 and Remember Me
The question is - will I be able to activate them even if I don't live in Russia and will it be in English ? since with RE:R I had no issues.
Please don't reply with "It's not worth it, don't take a risk" etc.. Just need a straight up answer from someone who knows.
Thanks for the help. <:
