Eh. Second attempt to read through, the randomly added formatting doesn't much help my understanding.
Though if you're peeved at Amazon, I would be too. Bought a key through them - them directly, not a reseller - that wasn't as described. Since it had been claimed by me using it, they refused to give a refund. And because I had bought it through Amazon, Steam refused to credit it to me as well. TL;DR, I don't buy through Amazon any more.

You have the fault for demanding amazon to repair damage done by a external seller. Next time try to address problem with seller. If he doesn't repond right, take all proof to amazon and they will handle it.

So you ordered something from a third party through Amazon, it arrived defective, you got a full refund (besides the shipping cost?) and also a free replacement that also was defective?
Even though Amazon has no real reason to give you a refund if you buy something from a third party (at least it used to be like this, I don't know their current policy).

Agreed. I quote from a recent psychologist research document: "Children of the 'little emperor' spoilt generation are used to having their demands met by their parents and others in authority, and that in turn makes them unprepared for the realities of adult life. This has consequences in every area of society, from the classroom to the workplace, the streets to the criminal courts and rehabilitation clinics."
Not saying that Amazon are perfect by any means, but, in my experience, and having been in customer service, you feel more inclined to help the polite and courteous ones.

I'm beginning to believe that contacting any support anywhere isn't for the faint of hearts. And from personal experiences contacting Origin and Steam support is traumatic at best. Sometimes I think that those support centers are run by bots, by people that have a good knowledge of English except that they can't read English and some are probably based in a fourth world country like North Korea: " were every answer and solution is peachy ".

I am not sure how this is all Amazon fault,from what i read you ordered and was shipped by Amazon for a third party,so yes they have no control over that ,though they where still nice enough to give you a refund despite them not selling the product themselves.Seems like you bought an item from a seller where Amazon takes care of the shipping for them so they could not do a replacement because it is not there stock.
You also keep demanding them to replace something they can not it is out of there control,you have to send the product back to get a refund that is common practice with any business.
He is telling you if he gives you a refund your account will get closed because of i can only assume abuse of returns,kinda like Valve will do if you abuse the returns.He was very helpful and a lot more helpful then the others,Also at the start of it you mention 7 defects items they sent you,so if that is true that does seem a bit high and odd so i could see why they would close your account.
I am sorry you had this issue as i never had this before but i always bought from things sold by Amazon only to avoid what has happened to you.Only one time i had an issuer with a product it was the wrong item in the box,they refunded me before i send it back as they did not have another one to replace it with,so i just bought it from another place.Also they charged me for prime when i did not want to be and they refunded it without issue.
In the end i think it is a bit odd that 7 items would be defective,what are these converters for?

Its like a restaurant business, for example Applebees. They get their "Converters" (Food) from a third party seller, Applebees then prepares the cooks the food (Package it), Then they make sure it has no defects on it, after that the customer receives their meal. If they see a hair on it or the steak is not met to their liking, The customer will complain to Applebees for what ever reason they find. If the meat gives them salmonella for some reason. Applebees takes the blame not the third party company.( seller of the inventory). From a restaurant perspective it makes sense.

That is different they control the product on all aspects,they control the stock,how it is prepared and so on,In this case Amazon is just a glorified drop shipper.Amazon just takes the product in and ships it for the company.They have no control over stock,if the company gives them one item to sell and it defective Amazon can not give another item they do not have. even if they so desire as they have no item to give,but they still gave the person a refund.
This person clearly no matter what was not going to be happy with what Amazon did.As they tried to help several times,and yet he claims 7 products where defective,?Come on after about the 2 or 3rd one i would just stopped selling them stuff.
And just because you can blame someone does not mean there at fault,if you get sick from the meat and it was not due to there fault,but from where they got it because they sold tainted food.it not there fault but the place they got it from,but this is just how people think,hey they served it so they are responsible,regardless if they did everything and followed every rule and guide by the T.
That is like getting a package from UPS that all smashed to hell and broken,and demanding Amazon to give you a refund because it there fault that it is damaged,even though once they ship it is out of there hands and they have no more control over what happens.I know they will still more and likely resolve the issue despite them not having to and just tell you contact UPS as make a claim.

Actually I ordered some glass bowls from Amazon, and one was broken (probably from the shipping process). I went to complain-not expecting anything-and they sent me a new set of bowls. Amazon is the best for physical objects.

They are awesome and pay for return shipping so do not get me wrong i know they go above what they have to.I am just saying if they wanted to they could tell you get bent if the package was damaged in transit because it was out of there hands,but any place that did that would not be in business long,as it better to take care of the rare cases then to lose business.
Either way i think this person was abusing them and got mad when they finally said enough is enough,though they did it in a very polite way and i never had any issues with there support when i needed it.

I dunno, any time I've used Amazon customer support they've bent over backwards to help me.
I just wanted to cancel an order once and place 2 orders with different shipping addresses and the guy gave me free overnight shipping on both for no reason. It was crazy

Amazon has exceptional customer service. They go above and beyond to fix problems even when it's not their fault. I asked them about an order that was one day late for delivery. It was a problem with the post office, and I wasn't even mad but they gave me 3 months of amazon prime for my troubles. They are the main reason I started buying so much much online instead of physical stores, because I have so much confidence in buying and not having to worry if something goes wrong.

I hate it when i reply to the wrong post,as much as i love they changed the forum like this,at the same time what a mess it can be to sometimes tell who is replying to what and so on.I wish this site had a real forum like vbulletin.
