Unable to sync

I have my profile set to public as it has for ever and all of a sudden the sync tab wants me to resync. so no worries. i go do it and i get the warning that i need to set my profile to public. which it is at https://steamcommunity.com/id/ppgump/

how can i fix this?

that happens sometimes, bug i guess. You just have to wait a bit and it will fix on it's own

i guess im in the same boat as others that now fall thru the cracks. heres to one day hoping it will fix itself.

I've had that happen a couple of times.
Set private, try and sync, get a warning, set public again, sync again. Most often it will now be fine.

That said. I see your post was a day ago so your likely already fine, but give this a shot next time and it may fix you up right away instead of having to wait.

It was doing it to me for about a week, and then spontaneously fixed itself and hasn't happened since.

this seems to be an ongoing growing issue most likely related to steam limiting requests. as per other threads this has already been discussed many times before. This issue has resolved itself as it does and most likely will fall victim to it again. Thank for everyone's input but this issue is resolved for now.
