its the loading screen, showing that the flash in question originated from newgrounds. just about every newgrounds created thing has a similar loading screen.
but yeah, he had the first website it was posted on (newgrounds) and many others (kongregate and some other big ones) to remove it

but damn. if that first level is hard for ya, the later ones are insane. with constant moving fore\background things.
also. if you know how to zoom in a webpage, it'll make the game screen pop up a little bit bigger.
off to the sides of the webpage, move your mouse away from the game screen, hold CTRL button and use mouse wheel to zoom in
or just do ctrl + or ctrl - by the backspace button to control zoom
but if you wanna beat it without doing a hint (cuz i think theres a bonus image gallery for doing the game without using hints) heres youtube walkthru

short and sweet flash game. completeable start to finish within an hour or so. depending on how well your eyes are and if you position yourself just right.
Its a very nice HOG where theres 3 layers of objects\terrain to view\look for whatever.
Foreground, middle ground (where your character moves) and background.
depending where you move in the middle ground of course changes the POV of the fore and backgrounds, hiding or allowing you to view things.
The artwork is extremely different than just about any other thing I can imagine, as the creator 'SpikeValentine' of newgrounds had his very own funky anime ish pointy nosed delightfully weird monstrosities.
Unfortunately that fellow went bible crazy.
He removed all his music, artwork, games he had made! now theres hardly any trace left of his works except a few youtube and misc websites!
I was highly into his works pre-2016 (pre-bible crazy)
especially with his semi successful Fearless Fantasy (which i was fortunate to test and receive a copy\credits to!)
