Do you like Sri Lankan Food?
Never ate Sri Lankan food, but I tried some other South-Asian ones (Chinese, Indian, Thai). I love spicy food!
But my favourite cuisine overall (after Italian) has to be Japanese, especially Sushi. And, no, it's got nothing to do with me being a weeb.

I love spicy food!
In that case if you ever get the chance try Sri Lankan. It is similar to Indian food but certainly not the same - and try the deviled dishes for extra spiciness :)

Ironically when we moved to Sri Lanka it was the first time we were able to order a Dominoes Pizza for delivery .. Fortunately it is now an option where we now live in the UK.
And I probably eat more pizza than any other type of food :)

I don't know of any Sri Lankan restaurants in my part of the world - are there Indian dishes that are close to it?

Anything I didnt have to cook, or clean up after, is my favorite.
Edit: This isnt a wiseass reply, I really mean it. I love to cook, but generally speaking by the time Ive finished prep/cooking/cleanup I have no desire to eat what I've made. Food that I had no hand in always tastes better to me.

Anything Italian that doesn't have meat or meat products. I have a weakness for gnocchi but it isn't sold in my country :'( Apart from that I'm addicted to spinach <3 It's my most favourite vegetable :P I don't like Mediterranean cuisine but I live somewhere there so I have to eat it daily :( There is only so long a person can tolerate beans in 10 different ways! :)

Yรผxiang Rousi/Pork Strips Stir-fried in Fish Sauce is really nice. I'm looking forward to trying out many more types of food in the future.

I'm off for a couple of days holiday away with the wife & kids. We're actually off to Glossop (just east of Manchester in the UK) only an hour and half from where I live but the main reason we've actually chosen Glossop is so that we can have a meal in the at the Sri Lankan restaurant, Ayubowan, located there. Whilst I like most types of food I have a particular liking for Sri Lankan cuisine since I worked over there for a couple of years about 10 years ago. The reason for staying overnight is so I can hopefully reminisce over a bottle (or two) of Lion Lager and maybe even an Arrack
So does anyone else like Sri Lankan food? What is your favorite type of food?
Obligatory GA
