I will rooting for Croatia, they are my favorite after group stage. They are playing likable football with heart for their country. I hope they will win,Rakitic,Modric are playmakers! Cheers from Slovakia.

Croatia in the finals is a very big thing. Uruguay won in 30 and 50, and places like czechoslovakia, hungary (2x) and sweden have lost in the finals, but all of those were before 62, and football then was so much more limited and smaller that the results aren't comparable in any way.
In or after 70 there haven't been any cases of a small(er) football country getting to the finals.
Since a large population means (obviously) that a larger population of footballers to draw the best from, a country of 4 million getting to the finals is a massive thing.

I expect France will win the World Cup.
Croatia had to go into overtime in all three KO matches, which probably took a lot of energy.
Nevertheless I hope Croatia will win the final against France!

and? England played final once, so same as Croatia. I do not want to lessen Englishman, but it's just annoying the hype almost always for them and nothing in return. (with this year was nice for them thou). The one goal from 'gameplay' just speaks about style. Croatia is underdog against France (and they have some monster squad this year), but that's a beauty, they can still win. And it would be way better style than Greece or Portugal winning Euro championships IMO (well, all this is IMO obviously)

However, your comment made it sound like they had no chance seeing as they only got a single goal in normal playtime, but then that is the same as France in their semi-final, so your argument sounded a bit weak.

well, all media, with 'euro'sport at the front was promoting 'coming home' nonsense, with comparing Kane to CR (looking for 1/2 stats he had better at some point in time) and all, I am not sure everyone knew it ( ͝° ͜ʖ͡°)
I am no France fan, but I was referring to England had 1 (one) goal from normal playtime, not penalties/freekicks (but I WAS WRONG, I missed the Panama game, sorry for that). As said, all that is my opinion, anyone is free to disagree.
