Well, being officially the worst game ever made (although some believe it was ET for atari), a proper collector would have to find himself a copy of that game, as it is a part of gaming history.

ET for the 2600 wasn't nearly as bad as many claimed. It wasn't great, but part of the mythos about how bad ET actually was revolved around Atari ordering way too many copies to sell, not the actual quality of the game itself (although the quality wasn't very good either.) Other than "escape the planet" the players goals were somewhat nonsensical, but ET still had a point and it was actually winnable which was a fairly unique concept for Atari games of the day.
Off the Road Racing was an entirely different breed. There was no actual racing involved, no discernible physics, and arguably no way to win. "You're Winner!" served only to inform you that the race had ended before it ever really began.

I still proudly own my copy of ET although I doubt I will ever play it again. Now Pac-man for the 2600, that game was simply awful... 100x worse than ET.
Who actually owned a 3DO? Nobody that I ever knew had one. Everyone that I knew either had the SNES (me) or the Genesis. I don't even remember the 3DO ever being for sale anywhere.
