Hmm, have you considered making a new account just for the bundle leftovers with trading cards, and then selling the cards? I assume you'd get enough Steam wallet money to buy a few cheap games you actually wanted instead... :)

+1 I hate it when I buy games I already have. But with steam you can just trade it if its a key but if its origin you get a another copy ;p so far 2 copies Bejeweled 3 , 3 Peggle copies, 2 Command and Conquer Generals copies, and sims 3 base game 3 times. Epic fail origin.

My favorite is buying from a reputable site but not reading the FINE print (looking at you GMG) and ending up with a key that's only good on Mac OS. Done that twice now, d'oh

Saw the IndieGala Friday bundle was on the last day and in Happy Hour, and since I was missing 5 of the games, I went for it. Figured $4 for 5 games and a bunch of keys to gift was worth it.
Turns out I got it on the 16th and just forgot to redeem the keys. So now I have 5 copies of the bundle, rather than 2. Yay...
Oh, and I got duplicates on console as well. Obviously.
