Well, i bought Watch dogs 2 for 5€ during the epic sales and after connecting epic to uplay i also got the game on uplay.
Now i wanna buy the season pass from humble.
The question is, will i be able to activate the season pass on uplay?

Maybe 1 of you did it already. 10x for sharing

Edit:
I got in contact with the uplay customer support just to make sure it will work, and the guy wrote back that i have to buy it on epic ... epic doesent sell the season pass. So much for the support..
I just bought it on uplay and it worked.

I have bought Far Cry Primal on Epic and then that Apex Edition DLC in uPlay, so I think it should be OK for Watch Dogs too.

I can't say for 100% certain, but as long as the game is showing in your Uplay account you should be able to buy the season pass if it also activates on Uplay.

(Epic Games Store is pretty cool in this aspect since it doesn't make you launch Uplay games through EGS if you don't want to.)

that's because Ubisoft forced Uplay Connect on all resellers (which is great), not because EGS is nice.

I think every Ubisoft game need the Uplay store to work. So, if you have watch dogs 2 on your Uplay account you would be able do redeem the season pass.

Not true for Steam bought games as they're a different appid (to borrow some Steam terminology) than the version sold through/for Uplay.

Almost certainly outsourced. As others have mentioned buying from Uplay works here because Uplay Connect basically redeems the game directly to your Uplay account, it's effectively no different than buying a Uplay key and activating that.

Just to throw a monkey wrench into the discussion:
Note that AC Black Flag purchased on steam requires Uplay, but the Uplay-only version of the DLC as sold by humble WILL NOT work with the steam version of the base game, only the Uplay version.

Basically:

Steam version of game + Steam DLC = Yes. This version still launches Uplay when you start the game.

Uplay version of game + Uplay DLC = Yes. You would launch this version directly from Uplay with no Steam involvement.

Steam + Uplay DLC = Nope
Uplay + Steam DLC = Nope

I hope I don't come across as condescending. We get this query a lot and I just want to be super clear! :)

I do not know if this applies to what Epic sells. My advice is that you open a support ticket with Ubisoft and ask. In my experience, they tend to be very quick to respond.
I hope you get it sorted out!

It's also available on sale off Ubisoft themselves for the same price of 10 euro. You can get 2 euro off this if you use 100 clubpoints so works out cheaper and you know there will be no issues 100%.

+1. I think it would've been even cheaper if bought as "gold edition" with the 20% off clubpoints coupon during a sale if OP hadn't already bought it.

I totally agree with you. If he had bought the gold edition when the sale was on it would have turned out as a better deal. Like him I also bought the standard edition in the sale along with Wildlands and Division 2. I usually just buy the base game. The dlc costs more than the base game so it's an easy pass for me :)

I don't know about Epic, but I can tell the experience with steam:
Ubi game bought on Steam > Steam handles all the downloads, so you buy a dlc from Uplay directly > if the dlc files are already part of the base game (like R6, Division, the deluxe cr@p bonuses for all their games) they will be unlocked and play fine
But for a game like W_D 2 most of the dlcs have separate files downloading, they might be marked as purchased in-game but not installed > Steam won't install them if you haven't bought them on Steam
This is actually a big problem with Ubi as many ppl own base games on Steam and buy from Uplay and find out the files won't download so they will need to refund and then buy from Steam

Is Epic handling the downloads or Uplay ?

A solution sometimes would be getting the latest version of those files from "somewhere else", but everyone will frown upon this.. probably the BLs will roll on me too for mentioning it
