Hello Everyone,
This post is going to be long so bear with me, as there's something i want to say, what i feel, and what i believe in fact.
I know that this post may be shut down by the mods but still i need to say something regarding a GROUP in steam named GROUP-BUYS
There's a group in steam name Group-Buys for which I was a member, when i came to trading for the first time. Where people usually split bundles [GOGO, OTAKU, RELEASED HUMBLE BUNDLE] and so on, with FAIR PRICES.
Now, I read all the rules at that time, around April-May 2018, and there's a term call OFFERING, that was prohibited.
According to this rule, If i commented somewhere, if someone made a post without mentioning how much price they want to pay, it'll be considered as a OFFERING.
If i ask them in chat, how much they're paying, or how much i want - that's also an offering.
Now there's been a case, where someone posted in their WTB that he wanted KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM, and it was a AAA game and a part of MAY monthly. But he didn't mentioned the price, and the monthly wasn't revealed fully. i mean the other games were not revealed at that time.
I remember i added that person (as commenting considered offering at that time ) and have a conversation where the price he said, i didn't agree on that.
Later he reported the same to the mods, and then this neocow guy sends me a friend request, and we'd a long conversation.
Basically what he wants me to say that I CANNOT ASK FOR HIGHER PRICES Or Profits??
But as you can see, THERE IS NO RULE ON REGULATING EARLY UNLOCK PRICES, and as he recall, "One must ask for FAIR prices".
Now i took a long 3 hour conversation with him, where i simply ask him, "What's a fair price??" I know that depends on games, but still it should be REGULATED. because it clearly violates the very rule they mentioned
Now, if a person is posting a WTB regarding a game that's currently in early unlock, that means not all the games are announce, and if i stated my price there, then I'll get a ban, but the person who's asking, who don't even mentions how much he wants that game for, is right??
That mod (NEOCOW) accused me and after a long conversation, he banned me.
Here's the reason that he mentioned
Today i added him to ask for the final time to remove the ban which was placed INCORRECTLY. and after a whole lot of conversation, he said that a 3rd party (MODS) cannot regulate the prices of early unlocks. I mean WTF
There are only two major bundles, HUMBLE MONTHLY and UBERCRATE, where 1-3 games revealed and the rest gets revealed at the end of the month.
That's like ONE IN A MONTH TYPE TASK, to which he said, that "MODS DON'T DETERMINE PRICES"
And here's my question to all of you
After all this, I'm planning to create the same group, with the same rules as groupbuys, but with a exception that there will be price moderation on early unlocks
If there are 3 early unlocks the max price per game will be $3
If there's one early unlock - $4-$6
I think their idea of FAIR PRICES, should be mentioned.. because to newbies, they don't know what's fair.
And to be honest, most of the members in that group actually lowball..
That's all what i wanted to say, feel free to comment below what do you think about this
I hope you've a great day
Regards,
Abrix
