Is it considered acceptable to enter giveaways for the complete edition if I have the base game and none of the DLC?

I think it's not , i was thinking about that too. Then i just entered giveaway for a dlc and by some sheer luck i got it :P

You're generally not even allowed to enter these Complete editions, but DoD has had trouble keeping "bound" to the base game.

Yeah, I'm still able to enter it.

My experience with these is that having the base game doesn't prevent one from entering the complete pack version, generally speaking.
