I spent a lot. Like a lot more than I should've. I should've spent $0.

Grab an entry for Octodad: Dadliest Catch! Make sure to leave a funny/cute cat gif that may involve anime girls. Or just leave a boring "bump".

I've spent over $150 on gifts and myself.

I'm curious, why did you refund Mark of Ninja?
The only reason I see is that it's highest discount was 85% off, so you probably can get it cheaper someday.
I can understand that it's not game for everyone, but refund Mark of the Ninja and keep Down To One - that's strange choice :D

I still don't get the Level #### (4 digits) holiday badges.

How do you mean? The holiday badges have no limit. Anyone who has a four digit badge just means they've crafted the set at least 1,000 times.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, no limit. But how can someone manage to get the badge 1000 times and over?
I mean, buying games or waiting the whole year to make other badges in order to get holiday cards and still the numbers are enormous.
Having multiple accounts still makes a low collection for those numbers.
Buying the holiday cards. Well, talking about a lot lot of money.
So, I still don't get the way.

Buying the holiday cards by thousands and then using an addon to help crafting them to lvl 1000+
If you transform the emoticons and backgrounds into gems you get a good ammount of the money back :D
And yes, that's still a lot of money x_x

I'm almost positive it's just raw money as you can see some of the public trade figures for those users are quite low whereas the market transaction figures are in the six digits. I think the highest value badge right now is around €43k last time I checked. Seems like a lot to us, but these are people with ~lv700 accounts. They've already spent hundreds of thousands. Some are just much better off than others.

How do you check the value of a badge? =)

Permalink

Guesstimate. The cards going rate is about €0.09, x11 cards in the set, xX value of badge number.

A little tip: I don't know if you already know this, but you can optimize your guesstimates buy looking for the set-price on this website http://steam.tools/cards/ =D

I guess it helps, but from what I can see it only shows the base cost of one set based off of the average value of all the cards collectively, so it'd be about the same. Thanks though.
