Everybody loves heroes, this is a fact.

I remember when i was young, watching to Spider Man movies, playing games with my friends as heroes and villains.
This year is a great one, with lots of great hero movies, and that made me think.

Who is trully my hero?

My dad always helped me a lot, he works a lot, and lives 9000 Km far from me.
He moved so he could gave me a better life, and he is doing it.
I am who I am because of him.
He loves me and I love him so much, that he is the best Hero i will ever know.

So I have to ask you. Who is your Hero?

Все мои герои мертвы, я стараюсь не отставать. Which stands for 'All my heroes are dead, I'm trying to keep up'.
It's a line from lyrics that i wrote a while back and it's really sums it up for me still.

I guess my Mom, though I'd say she's my idol. Well, somewhere in between a hero and an idol.
Also, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Jon Stewart and recently John Oliver

It's easy to be a hero with money or super power, but only badasses work hard for the sake of their family. Baddasses like my father. >:)

My parents, first and foremost. Immigrant story, successfully moved to America and started a (relatively) comfortable life.

Lieutenant Olivia Benson and ADA Rafael Barba from Law and Order: SVU are amazing. Inspiring, even if fictional.

Ron Paul, for standing for liberty and being one of the very few honest politicians. In all his years in congress, he never compromised his principles and fought the corrupt establishment tooth and nail. This year I can't stand any of the candidates, and I'm probably not going to vote for the first time in a presidential election.

I admire lazy yet successful people but heroes are those who aren't rewarded yet still work hard.

"Everybody loves heroes, this is a fact."
But not everybody likes Hollywood films about them, this is a fact.... or maybe only me?

They are too naive/pure. You just watch them for lots of explosions and action (with brain off).
The only exceptions are The Watchen and animated Batmans

Why nobody want to make films like Batman: Dark Knight Returns part 2? Fight scene with Joker was one of the most incredible and brutal fights that I saw in any superheroes film. And still it is for kids :OOO
AND we have the most creepy Joker there :)
