Hi everyone,

We want to chose a different logo for each team at my job and we have a sort of vote happening next week to decide which logo is the winner.
I work as Embedded SW Developer and I'm in the "Wireless team". This mostly means Radio Frequency, but ocasionally also Bluetooth.
I'm looking for something more original, not really the well known WiFi logo waves(but maybe some interesting variations would be nice).
Anyway, if you have any ideas for a logo that would represent a wireless team, please share :)
Images but also even just ideas(that I could draw myself) are very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Wouldnt copyright be a issue? Or am I just stupid?

It's just a logo used between colleagues, not really a company logo, or nothing that would be used outside the company.
Like if all colleagues would play football they'll have personalized T-shirts with their team's logo.

It's more like a messy thing that will in no way be decent open use, but as a dumb inner-circle thing it may be good enough . . . Also since you didn't point out weather you wanted a professional looking or a derpy logo. . . I just rolled with the first idea that popped into my head

You could have an internet cable with scissors cutting them in half. You're not the wirefull team, you're the wireless team :p I don't expect you to take this seriously :p

One a more serious note, if you don't want to go for the cliche wifi symbol, you can go for the cliche sin wave or radio wave symbol.

If you're willing to spend 5 or 10 dollars, you can get some nice logo work done by someone on fiverr.com. The logo section is here: https://www.fiverr.com/categories/graphics-design/creative-logo-design

If you want to avoid the overused waves... why not going for the wires? I mean, graphically hinting at the no wires (wich is awesome) instead of abstract 'in the air invisible waves' thingie.

Im a bit tired now for any great idea but some silly brainstorming: scissor cutting wires, some kind of 'r.i.p'.. just talking seem ridiculous but some sketching and some elegant solution can certainly be found around the 'no-wire' focus.
Perhaps a simple 'dashed outline' of what would've been a wire can work.
Heck, a 'WIRE LESS' typographic logo (with a rounded type) where the 'wire' is dashed or grayed out could work already - if only your teams name had the actual word wire on the title...

How about 2 metal cans with(out) a string? And then replace the string with radio wave.

You know, like an old-skool children's phone ;)
