Please remove the shadowground: survivor and shadowground giveaways

Wait till I win a copy, I'm having terrible luck with the slots ^_^

Is that what it's about? I was wondering why theres so many giveaways, I've had the games for a year now and found it weird that theres all these giveaways.

Yatter said they won't bother with it now because the new system will handle it. If it was up to me I'd disable the games until than.

I am trying too win them here. For though I won them 12x on summerseal...I never got a single e-mail so this is my chance too win a copy.

I even started to report them, but then I changed the site page, omfg, there are everywhere....

Because people have never ever given away something they've gotten for free here.

I mean whether they got them free or not, they are contributing...

I'm not sure why they would be disallowed. It's not like the bundles, where you are specifically not supposed to break them up (thereby creating multiple copies).

If a friend gives me a game, and I gift it here, who cares where it came from? I'm not sure this is any different. For that matter, no one complained about all the copies of Torchlight that were gifted here that were received for pre-ordering Torchlight II. No one paid for those either, but they are still valid gifts that people can share and enjoy receiving. Shadowgrounds is no different.

It's still a Steam game, who can be bought on the Steam store. It's not their responsability if other sites are giving away it for free.

As more people get free copies and activate them, the less people will be able to enter these giveaways. We will eventually reach a point where everyone here will have a copy of the game.

I lol at all those "they do nothing wrong" or "Its not different than sales offer/preorder bonus". Seems like most people on the forums lost their brains in one of those countless raffles. Plz, continue amusing me. XD

Rule should be the same for all. What about the ton of Asia only DOTA2 keys that people grabbed handfully from alienware and are still gifting here?

If you want the mods to actually see this and read it, you should file a support ticket. I know Forum and Support are close to each other on the page but they're two different sections of the site.

Making it a forum thread just makes their job more difficult.

I don't mind the fact that they're using free games, but it's just the fact that because there's so many of them, it's significantly slowing down the site.

I'm pretty sure anyone who ever made a giveaway of shadowground will have that contribution amount erased from their account pretty soon

The influx of these should really stop. It's lagging the site so bad that it takes two or so minutes to load and screws up your browsing. Congrats that you're getting a 7 or 10 dollar contribution, but really, giveaways should be limited to only so many at a time, or something.
