I was wondering if anyone else has played Eco and had any thoughts on it? I have two young kids (3 & 8) so I've bought one key to give it a go as it looks a very interesting game ..

Never Heard Of It Before

Looks promising but I wonder if people ever watch their own trailers after they are done editing them.
But judging by the trailer this seems much too complex for small children to grasp on their own + multiplayer sandbox game.

You can setup your own server :) But yes, basic spelling mistakes do make you wonder ..

That solves the (potential) community problem. In this case it seems the R just slipped 2 spaces to the left so I assume it's not for lack of english skills like many other games but rather lack of attention to detail. Still not a good thing though.

I agree it's a punt at $40 but at least if my eldest & wife likes it we can purchase licences at the reduced rate (i.e. the 2nd licence is $35, the fourth is $30). I'm a firm believer that I'll pay for the enjoyment I think I will I get. I've pad $50 for AAA titles I've thought were rubbish and $1 for games that I thought were amazing ..
