Mirror's Edge™ Catalyst is already available (on Origin)

I love the original Mirror's Edge, but I don't really like the look of this one... The trailer from 2013 was so awesome, but after this E3 I'm really doubtful about the direction of the game... They pointed out some positive aspects, thats true, but the feel and dark tone of this game didn't like me very much.

The only way it'll get on Steam is if DICE split from EA and get control of the IP.

The only way it would be available on Steam was if Origin failed and EA were financially unable to start another DRM service. Given that the Battlefield series is still going strong and Battlefront is coming out soon, I doubt that's ever going to happen.

I would love for every game to be on Steam, but that's just not the way things are :/

EA games haven't come to Steam since Valve decided they didn't want them. Their 'reason' for removal of EA games, the DLC, has been completely ignored by other companies, and nothing has happened. Valve just wanted them gone.

Which is a ****ing pity. When EA did Steam releases, they didn't shove in multiple DRMs like Ubisoft. You buy on Steam, you had Steam. You buy on Origin, you had Origin.
